What’s coming up for you today dear friends? A comment on one of my posts on another network this morning told me that somebody was feeling cold at the start of today and I had heard a few things about stormy weather over in the UK so, I dropped in on Google UK and saw this . . .

Batten Down The Hatches

It would be nice if that were possible, but life must go on. It might be necessary to adjust our routines or find a different way of doing things while the storm rages; until then, such is the way of life or business. If we have the motivation and intention for success, we will find solutions to stormy weather.

TwAcK European Tour 2020

This was another post from yesterday and from the start I declared that it was “Just For Fun” and about the forthcoming TwAcK “Whatever You Want It To Be” European Tour 2020. I enjoyed a lot of fun with that post and must say a huge thank you to all the people who contributed and helped turn a European tour into a world tour.

Was It A Fantasy?

I hear Freddie Mercury singing Bohemian Rhapsody, “Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy”? Well, I’m not going to be caught in a landslide and, although the TwAcK tour might be currently no more than an idea albeit with three quite real dates when I will be wearing the T-Shirt, there is genuinely something very exciting in the works.

Putting It Out There

One of my experiences that really makes my soul sing is presenting to a live audience. I’ve done the training and have had plenty of practical experience. It’s not about adulation that may follow a great presentation.

  • It’s about participating in and contributing to something bigger than me.
  • It’s about responding to challenging questions and enabling people to find their answers.
  • It’s about giving what I have to give.

My intention is set, and I am taking steps to bring a live tour to fruition. It has deadlines and they bring a sense of urgency; my intentions will not lose their value and I will remain motivated. So long as I have clear paths to the smaller goals, no obstacles will get in the way of the big one.

Why am I telling you this?

It takes courage. It took courage to work at recovering from the disability that followed my knee fracture and it takes courage to navigate life more often than we realize. Every step we take into the unknown requires courage.

High Performance Habits (HP6)

In his research, world leading high performance coach, Brendon Burchard identified six HP habits and when assessed on courage, he found that where courage was high, so were the scores on the other five habits found in high performers.

Individuals who have developed greater courage in life also tend to have more clarity, necessity, productivity and influence. At the start of his book on HPH, he asks, “Why are you so terrified to want more”? Personally, I’m not at all terrified. What’s your answer to that question? Whatever your answer, don’t compare to mine, this is all about you and working honestly at whatever the answer brings up can lead to growth.

I do urge you however that if you follow the link; take action to work at your results. Since I took the test and read the HPH book over two years ago, the upward leaps I’ve made have been phenomenal and the book still sits on my desk, I have no intention of filing it away on a shelf.

I highly recommend Brendon’s book, you can find it here.
